The National Science Foundation (NSF) will soon institute a new Cyberinfrastructure Framework for 21st Century (CIF21) track in its Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT) program as a mechanism to address the training and education needs in challenging computational and data-enabled science and engineering (CDS&E) and cyberinfrastructure research. More information about this initiative can be found at the following website:

iCER would like to help position MSU to submit competitive applications to this program. To this end, iCER has a number of resources that you may be able to leverage to make your IGERT proposal stronger.

If you are planning on submitting a proposal please let us know as soon as possible so we can help with the writing process and help coordinate the grant writing effort at the university level.
